Hi, I’m Elizabeth. I’m an enthusiastic improvement seeker who has found myself somewhat of an expert in food safety after 17 years in the food industry.
Food safety can be ambiguous, so it has become my mission to make it easy to understand so you feel confident in your food safety program and the safety of your products. I know that navigating regulations, certifications, and safety plans can feel overwhelming, but I’m here to help you make sense of it all.
I’ve spent the majority of my career in beverage manufacturing and in grocery supply chain supporting food safety in distribution centers across Canada.
When I had my daughter in 2023, I realized that I wanted more flexibility and availability for my family, so I started my own small consulting business. Now, I get to help other businesses thrive, all while balancing my own life with the flexibility I love.

For as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of owning my own business and even visualized the sense of purpose I would feel when doing the hard work to get there. With Acclivity, not only am I making my dream a reality, but my job is to help you make your dream a reality too. It doesn’t get better than that!

More about Me
I started my career in Quality Assurance in the brewing industry after graduating from SAIT and quickly grew to love the people and the manufacturing environment.
Over the course of 15 years, I eagerly embraced every opportunity that came my way, developing a unique skill set that combines operational excellence with food safety to drive comprehensive business improvement.
When I decided to move on, I left my role as Food Safety and Quality Programs Manager with a comprehensive skill set in managing multiple people and facilities, change management, building strong customer relationships, directing and sustaining a GFSI standard, public speaking, and leading multiple business improvement projects using LEAN Six Sigma methodologies.
I then transitioned from food manufacturing to the grocery supply chain, where I continued my food safety career by supporting and auditing distribution centers across the country for a major Canadian grocer. This rewarding position allowed me to enhance my interpersonal skills and achieve a strong understanding of the entire supply chain, from raw materials, to manufacturing, transport, and distribution.
